What are Specsy frames made from?
All Specsy frames are made from a plastic resin. Our frames pass through a post-production process that results in a similar look and feel to traditional acetate frames with a more matte finish.

How are Specsy frames made?
All Specsy frames are made to order with a 3D printer at our manufacturing facility in Toronto, Canada. Once the foundations have been printed, we work with our hands to polish, buff, and assemble each and every frame.

How long does it take to make one pair of Specsy frames?
Every pair of Specsy frames goes through its own manufacturing process so it can be just as unique as you. It takes about 5 days to create one complete pair, including 8 hours to print the frame components and 72 hours to polish them. Mom always said good things come to those who wait.
